Xu Yan is a tall figure with excellent posture. A faint smile hung from the lips of the youth who has a head full of red hair. His eyes are imposing and give off an invasive feeling, evidence that he is clearly no kind spirit.
Personality[]
Xu Yan is clearly a sly and prideful person due to his status as a veteran purple sash disciple. He originally caused lots of troubles for Zhou Yuan to help Lu Xuanyin get her revenge. After the latter's reputation and strength completely surpassed him, Xu Yan could only act like a sore loser with Lu Xuanyin.

Xu Yan was from the same teacher as Lu Xuanyin. His father was an elder in the Cangxuan Sect who was quite famous in Sword Cometh Peak, while he himself was a purple sash disciple.
History[]
Xu Yan was quite close to Lu Xuanyin. Hence, he was already fully on Lu Xuanyin’s side despite never having any contact with Zhou Yuan before. As a result, he helped Lu Xuanyin a lot in creating troubles for Zhou Yuan, which only ended in failures.
