Appearance[]
Wu Yao is a young lady in purple. Her beautiful face is akin to a painting, and her skin sparkles like translucent snow. There is likewise an attention-grabbing dark red dot between her brows, but it does not affect her beauty, but instead gives her a slightly otherworldly look.
She has a pair of long and narrow phoenix eyes. Although she is young, when she narrows them slightly, a majestic presence could be felt as if she is a true phoenix that has descended onto the mortal realm. Long fine black hair flows down along her slender waist before ultimately touching her fair feet.
Bewitching to every living thing is the only word that could describe the young woman’s face.
Personality[]
Unlike her family, Wu Yao is not arrogant. She is the only one who acknowledges that the dragon blessing she owns is a stolen one. However, she realizes its importance to her cultivation, so she is still merciless when it comes to the time when she needs to kill Zhou Yuan for it.
In the past, Wu Yao was a kind and lovely girl. It was her mother's death that damages her greatly and made her tougher mentally. She finally understands how crucial it is for her to be strong if she doesn't want to be harmed.
History[]
As a child born with the Sparrow Blessing on the same day with Zhou Yuan who owned the Saint Dragon Blessing, she was able to steal the dragon qi and evolved it into the Phoenix Blessing. However, unlike her twin brother, her blessing didn't manifest until the death of her mother.
When the twins were 8, Wu Huang had already awakened his 8th meridian while Wu Yao didn't find the locations of her 8 great meridians. Wu Xuan decided to transfer her dragon blessing to Wu Huang, which would ruin her genesis qi foundation and cause her never to be able to cultivate. Queen Wu found out and tried to stop the ritual, but was shaken away by King Wu and got hit in the head at the nearby pillar; consequently, she died because of the injury and poor health after giving late birth to the Wu twins. Wu Yao suddenly woke up at that moment, and the incident triggered her hidden blessing and reached the Qi Nourishing Realm, skipping the Eight Great Meridians Awakening Realm.
After the death of her beloved mother, Wu Yao completely changed and became more decisive to be stronger than anyone; moreover, she also secretly wanted to destroy the Great Wu Empire as revenge for her mother.
