Shen Taiyuan is one of three elders who are in charge of the Saint Genesis Peak after Cangxuan's death. His faction is constantly competing with Lu Hong's faction in spite of losing many times before Zhou Yuan joins in. Later, he is the temporary peak master after Zhou Yuan, who belongs to his faction, becomes the chief disciple and successfully opens the sealed main peak.
Appearance[]
Elder Shen Taiyuan is a middle-aged man who wears black robes and has a cold, stern face that gives off an aura of strictness.
Personality[]
Just as his appearance suggests, Shen Taiyuan is a strict and fair person. He is a rather inflexible and old-fashioned person by nature but treats his disciples with amazing earnest. Hence, numerous disciples both respect and fear him in Saint Genesis Peak. He doesn't judge people by their background nor looks, but their achievement and talents. Despite his doubts that Zhou Yuan could actually succeed in various events, Shen Taiyuan still gives the latter chances to participate and support him with all he could.
History[]
Shen Taiyuan had been brooding over elder Lu Hong’s shift to Saint Genesis Peak. However, due to the repeated failures for so many years, Shen Taiyuan could only accept the arrangements made by sect master and the other hegemons.
Although Shen Taiyuan was strict and old-fashioned, he did give his all when he came to his disciples. The only problem was that it was an exceedingly difficult task to find any good saplings to nature in their Saint Genesis Peak, hence why his disciples still found it hard to compete with the other peaks.
Now that a champion of the peak selection ceremony, Zhou Yuan, had at long last came their way, and had even declined to join Lu Hong’s faction and Shen Tiayuan would never give up and was definitely going to duke it out with Lu Hong, Lu Song decided it would be the best for Zhou Yuan to be under Shen Taiyuan.
