Liu Hou is a marquis of Great Zhou. He is naturally one of the big influent officials in the Great Zhou Empire's administration. However, he favors the Qi Clan more as he thinks that the Zhou will soon be overthrown.

Liu Hou is a pushover. When he sees the decline of the Great Zhou Empire, he doesn't really hesitate to cooperate the Qi Clan secretly behind the royal clan and become one of their trusted spies and supporters
Background[]
Several years ago, Zhou Qing became aware of how powerful Qi Manor was growing. Zhou Qing proposed a marriage between their factions: he intended for Zhou Yuan and Liu Xi to be married and strengthen the ties between the two clans.
Marquis Liu was somewhat hesitant with regards to Zhou Qing’s proposal. After all, the royal family of Great Zhou was in decline and the sole successor, Zhou Yuan, was unable to open his meridian channels. In addition, Marquis Liu was extremely doting on Liu Xi and thus asked her about her thoughts. Liu Xi was an extremely proud girl and felt that Zhou Yuan was merely a crippled prince. Hence, she rejected the proposal without any hesitation. Upon seeing her response, Marquis Liu used it as a reason to reject Zhou Qing.
As a result, Liu Hou had grown very close to Qi Manor over the past few years.
History[]
When the Qi Manor declared war with the Zhou, Liu Hou supported the idea of territory division and maintain peace with the other until Zhou Yuan appeared and rejected his idea and brought bringing 2 Alpha-Origin Realm yuan masters, Wei Canglan and Black Venom King, as reinforcements. Liu Hou was ordered to stay inside his residence until the war was over.
After the defeat of Qi's rebellion, the Liu Family was assumed to be exiled or destroyed due to their cooperation with the Qi Clan.
